Most people just share a referral link. We give you 20% of our commission back — automatically, through the fee discount.

The MEXC referral code on this page is mexc-coinport, written exactly like that: lower case with a hyphen. MEXC’s invitation page, which the button opens, showed it already typed in when we looked. If you land on the standard form instead, the box is hidden until you tick a small option, and the steps below say which.

Where to enter the MEXC referral code, step by step

  1. Press the MEXC button above. The page to look for is headed “Your Friend Invites You to Join MEXC”, with a panel about the referrer on one side.
  2. Find the field Referral Code (Optional). On 30 September it was already filled with mexc-coinport. On 29 September the same page showed no box at all, so MEXC changes this layout; do not be surprised if it looks different.
  3. If you are on MEXC’s standard sign-up form instead, tick Enter Referral Code on the website, or tap the small arrow in the app, to reveal the field, then type mexc-coinport exactly.
  4. Add your email or phone number (or choose Google or Apple), and press Continue. The email route then asks for a password, a slider puzzle and a 6-digit email code.
  5. Do KYC next. MEXC says skipping it can affect deposits, withdrawals and trading depending on your region, and the prompts in your account show which.

Can you add the MEXC referral code after you sign up?

MEXC’s invite-friends guide says a new user can enter the referral code during sign-up and that opening a referral link in a browser applies the code automatically. The MEXC pages we read do not describe adding a code to an account that already exists, and we could not confirm that it is possible. Treat sign-up as the moment the code goes in, and ask MEXC support if you already have an account and want to know your options.

What the 20% give-back means

20% lower trading fees when you sign up through this link: we pass 20% of our referral commission back to you. MEXC’s sign-up page for our link shows “Commission sharing: Spot 20.00% / Futures 20.00%” (seen 30 September 2026).

Put plainly: coinport earns a commission when someone opens an account through the link, and we hand 20% of it back by lowering the spot and futures trading fees on your account. It applies to trading fees only. Withdrawal and network fees are a separate cost, and MEXC’s own welcome offer is set by MEXC, not by us. The rate that applies to you is the one your MEXC account shows after sign-up, so look there rather than at any calculation of ours. 20% is the maximum our affiliate accounts let us give back — we give all of it.

What MEXC advertises, and the base fees

MEXC’s own welcome offer, as shown on the sign-up page our link opens: Up to $10,000 by completing sign-up, KYC, deposit, and trading tasks (read 29 September 2026). MEXC sets the offer and the tasks behind it and can change them; the conditions are in the MEXC sign-up guide.

MakerTaker
Spot0%0.05%
Futures0%–0.04%0%–0.10%

(base tier rates read from MEXC’s fee page on 9 September 2026; futures rates re-read on 29 September 2026. These are before the 20% give-back.)

MEXC sets futures rates per contract, so the range above is its overall range: BTCUSDT is 0% maker / 0.02% taker, ETHUSDT is 0% / 0.01%, and some contracts are marked zero-fee. MEXC also says rates may vary with platform events or user region, so check the fee page in your own account for your exact rate.

MEXC’s sign-up form labels the field Referral Code (Optional), and its help page is titled “Invite Friends to Sign Up on MEXC”. Searches for a MEXC invite code, invitation code or promo code all point at this one thing: mexc-coinport.
