About coinport: Who We Are, Where Data Comes From
coinport compares five crypto exchanges on real fees and features. All numbers are read from each exchange's own published schedule and dated.
What We Do
We compare Bitget, Gate.io, MEXC, Bybit, and OKX on:
- Spot and futures trading fees
- Withdrawal costs by coin and network
- How many coins each lists
- Account opening steps and requirements
Where the Numbers Come From
We use two sources:
- Public APIs: Coin counts and data available without an API key
- Published schedules: Fees read directly from the exchange website in a browser
How We Verify
Every number carries the date it was read. Before launch, we run audits that compare what's on this site to live data from the exchanges. If a figure is off by more than a tiny amount, we do not go live.
Why Five Exchanges?
Five is enough to show real differences in fees and features. More pages would water down the quality—every number must be right, and more pages means more to verify. Binance is excluded because we don't have a referral agreement with it.
Why One Language?
Translating creates an entire new set of pages to verify and maintain. It also brings new bugs—"1.000 $" vs "$1.000" broke numbers on a real site. We write in English only.
How We Make Money
We earn a commission when you open an account through our links. See our full disclosure. It costs you nothing, and we don't rank exchanges higher just because they pay more.
Contact
If you find a number that looks wrong, go home and look at the date next to it. If it's more than a day old, it might be outdated. We update the site regularly.
