Gate.io Referral Code COINPORT: 20% Off Fees + 135 USDT
20% lower spot and futures trading fees through our link.
Most people just share a referral link. We give you 20% of our commission back — automatically, through the fee discount.

The Gate.io referral code on this page is COINPORT, and unlike the other exchanges there is nothing to paste: Gate.io’s sign-up page has no invitation-code box. The code travels inside the coinport button. What you check instead is the address bar, which shows the page recognised the link. Before you register, read the restricted-countries section further down: Gate.io excludes a long list of places.
coinport earns a commission when you open an account through this link, at no extra cost to you. How we make money.

How the Gate.io referral code is applied, step by step
- Press the Gate.io button above so the referral is attached. Do not search for Gate.io and register from its home page, because that route carries no referral.
- The page opens on a country selector. Look at the address bar: on 17 October 2026 it read gate.com/signup with ref=COINPORT in it, and the page carried a panel headed “Enjoy High Trading Fee Rebates”. The ref= part is how you know the link was recognised.
- If the address has no ref=COINPORT or you see only the plain form, close the page and open the button again before going any further.
- Choose your Country/Region of Residence, accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy (the box was already ticked on the page we saw), then enter an email address or phone number.
- Type the verification code Gate.io sends, set a password and confirm. Switch on two-factor authentication after your first login, as Gate.io’s help recommends, and finish identity verification, which Gate.io requires before deposits and withdrawals.
(checked by opening the coinport link on 29 and 30 September 2026; nothing was typed or submitted)

Can you add the Gate.io referral code after you sign up?
The Gate.io pages we read describe the referral as part of sign-up and say nothing about attaching one to an existing account. We could not confirm that it is possible, so check with Gate.io support if you already have an account. For a new one, the button above is the way: the referral is carried by the link and there is no box to fill in later.

What the 20% give-back means
20% lower trading fees when you sign up through this link: we pass 20% of our referral commission back to you. Gate.io’s invitation page opened through our link shows 20% against its product lines (seen 29 September 2026).
Put plainly: coinport earns a commission when someone opens an account through the link, and we hand 20% of it back by lowering the spot and futures trading fees on your account. It applies to trading fees only. Withdrawal and network fees are a separate cost, and Gate.io’s own welcome offer is set by Gate.io, not by us. The rate that applies to you is the one your Gate.io account shows after sign-up, so look there rather than at any calculation of ours. 20% is the maximum our affiliate accounts let us give back — we give all of it.
(see how we make money for the whole arrangement)
What Gate.io advertises, and the base fees
Gate.io’s own welcome offer, as shown on the sign-up page our link opens: 135 USDT welcome bonus; up to 10,000+ USDT by completing sign-up and trading tasks (read 17 October 2026). Gate.io sets the offer and the tasks behind it and can change them; the conditions are in the Gate.io sign-up guide.
| Maker | Taker | |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 0.1% | 0.1% |
| Futures | 0.02% | 0.05% |
(base tier rates read from Gate.io’s fee page on 9 September 2026; futures rates re-read on 29 September 2026. These are before the 20% give-back.)
Futures figures are for USDT-margined perpetual contracts at VIP 0. BTC-margined perpetuals are 0.015% maker / 0.05% taker.
Referral code, invite code or promo code?
Gate.io does not show a referral-code field at all on the sign-up page we opened, so the words “referral code”, “invite code” and “promo code” describe the referral inside the link rather than something you type. For reference the code in the coinport link is COINPORT.
