Bitget VIP Levels: Benefits and Fees by Tier (0-7)
Pay 20% less on every trade
Most people just share a referral link. We give you 20% of our commission back — automatically, through the fee discount. Pick your exchange; the code is built into the button.

Your Bitget VIP level is one number that sets both your spot and your futures fee, and it is decided by what you traded or held over the last 30 days, not by anything you apply for. Most new accounts sit at VIP 0. This page puts Bitget's own VIP table next to the 20% lower trading fees a new account gets through our link, so you can see how much trading it would take to match that discount the hard way.
Bitget's Official VIP Table, Spot and Futures
Bitget assigns the highest level you qualify for from its 30-day spot trading volume, 30-day futures trading volume, 30-day average daily assets, today's assets and 30-day average BGB holdings, and updates it 9:00 AM (UTC+8) each day. Sub-accounts inherit the main account's rates, and Bitget says the VIP system applies only to non-institutional users. The table shows the volume route to each level, spot volume for the spot rates and futures volume for the futures rates.
| Level | 30-day spot volume (USDT) | 30-day futures volume (USDT) | Spot maker | Spot taker | Futures maker | Futures taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| VIP 0 (regular) | None | None | 0.1% | 0.1% | 0.02% | 0.06% |
| VIP 1 | 500,000 | 5,000,000 | 0.08% | 0.08% | 0.019% | 0.06% |
| VIP 2 | 2,000,000 | 10,000,000 | 0.065% | 0.07% | 0.016% | 0.04% |
| VIP 3 | 8,000,000 | 20,000,000 | 0.05% | 0.06% | 0.014% | 0.0375% |
| VIP 4 | 30,000,000 | 50,000,000 | 0.04% | 0.05% | 0.012% | 0.035% |
| VIP 5 | 50,000,000 | 100,000,000 | 0.03% | 0.04% | 0.01% | 0.032% |
| VIP 6 | 75,000,000 | 300,000,000 | 0.02% | 0.035% | 0.008% | 0.03% |

Rates and volume thresholds from Bitget's fee page, “VIP rates details” (first read 29 September 2026; every rate and threshold in this table re-checked against the page's own data on 17 October 2026). Percent of trade value; USDT-M futures; each volume is “at or above”.
Two details from the same page. Spot volume excludes zero-fee trading pairs, and CFD volume counts at 10% towards the futures figure. VIP users who have not completed identity verification are limited to 20,000 USDT in 24-hour withdrawals.
Average daily assets and BGB holdings are alternative routes to the same levels. Their thresholds sit in the VIP table on Bitget's fee page, and Bitget says the BGB threshold is adjusted dynamically, so check that table directly instead of relying on a copy here.
VIP 1 Versus a Regular Account With Our Link
A new account pays the VIP 0 rate. VIP 1 takes it to 0.08% / 0.08% on spot, but needs 500,000 USDT of spot volume in 30 days, about 16,667 USDT a day. Through our link a new account pays 0.08% / 0.08% on spot from the first trade. The two spot rates are the same number; one needs the volume, the other does not.
| Account | Spot maker | Spot taker | Futures maker | Futures taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Regular account (VIP 0), no link | 0.1% | 0.1% | 0.02% | 0.06% |
| VIP 1, no link | 0.08% | 0.08% | 0.019% | 0.06% |
| Regular account through our link (20% lower) | 0.08% | 0.08% | 0.016% | 0.048% |
| Lowest VIP level that reaches the link rate | VIP 1 (from 500,000 USDT spot volume) | VIP 1 (from 500,000 USDT spot volume) | VIP 2 (from 10,000,000 USDT futures volume) | VIP 2 (from 10,000,000 USDT futures volume) |
Link row = the VIP 0 rate multiplied by 0.8, calculated by coinport from Bitget's published VIP 0 rate; the 20% itself is coinport's affiliate-panel setting and is not on Bitget's page. Last row = the first VIP level in the table above whose published rate is at or below the link row. Rates read 17 October 2026.
Spot taker fee by VIP level
USDT-M futures taker fee by VIP level
On futures the link goes further than VIP 1. VIP 1 takes 0.001% off the futures maker rate and 0% off the taker rate; the link takes 0.004% and 0.012%. To match the link's futures rates without it you would need VIP 2 on both maker and taker, which starts at 10,000,000 USDT of futures volume in 30 days.
In money terms: on a 10,000 USDT spot taker order a regular account pays 10 USDT in fees and an account through our link pays 8 USDT, a difference of 2 USDT per 10,000 USDT traded. This is arithmetic on the published rates, not a forecast of what you will trade.

What Benefits Does Bitget VIP Offer?
Lower fees are one perk of several. Bitget's own pages list these benefits for VIP users:
- Lower transaction costs at each of its seven VIP levels, with higher levels charging progressively less (the rates are in the table above and, for every level, on our Bitget page).
- Trading tools: higher API rate limits, a VIP line, a Lola line and WebSocket order placement, plus additional sub-accounts and more competitive borrowing rates.
- Earn and borrowing: VIP-exclusive high-yield Earn products, lower borrowing rates and higher borrowing limits.
- Service: a dedicated VIP account manager for priority support, VIP-only trading promotions and VIP industry reports.
- Recognition: badge challenges and a limited-edition VIP badge.
Bitget's 2024 VIP overview says all users become VIPs automatically by meeting either the monthly trading volume or the asset-balance requirement, and that it counts "over 20 perks". Its August 2026 announcement lists the perks above but gives no thresholds or rates, so use the fee table for those.

Which Way Up Is Closer: Spot Volume or Futures Volume?
Going only by the table, spot volume is the lower bar at every level. VIP 1 asks for 500,000 USDT of spot volume against 5,000,000 USDT of futures volume, 10 times as much. At the top, VIP 7 asks for 100,000,000 USDT of spot volume or 1,000,000,000 USDT of futures volume, and the spot ladder as a whole climbs 200 times from VIP 1 to VIP 7.
That also shows where the steps are worth the trouble. The first spot step changes the rate by the same amount as the link, while the first futures step barely moves it. The higher levels matter for accounts trading at a scale the first rungs never approach. Fees on futures are lower than spot to begin with, which is covered in futures fees compared, and the same maker and taker rates on all five exchanges are in spot fees compared.
For the full Bitget schedule, including the BGB discount, see Bitget fees and review; to see Bitget's ladder next to the other exchanges' tiers, read VIP fee tiers explained.
Bitget's pages do not say whether the link's discount combines with VIP rates, so this page compares them side by side and does not add them together.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Bitget VIP?
It is a set of fee levels from VIP 0 to VIP 7 for non-institutional users. Bitget gives you the highest level you qualify for, and a higher level means lower spot and futures maker and taker fees.
What benefits does Bitget VIP offer?
Per Bitget's own pages (read 30 September 2026): lower transaction costs across seven VIP levels, higher API rate limits, a VIP line, a Lola line and WebSocket order placement, extra sub-accounts, lower borrowing rates and higher borrowing limits, VIP-exclusive Earn products, a dedicated VIP account manager, VIP-only promotions and industry reports, and VIP badges. Bitget's 2024 overview says users qualify automatically by meeting the monthly trading volume or asset-balance requirement.
How do I become a Bitget VIP?
You do not apply. Bitget updates your level each day at 9:00 AM (UTC+8) based on your 30-day spot volume, 30-day futures volume, 30-day average daily assets, today's assets and 30-day average BGB holdings, and gives you the highest level any of them qualifies you for.
Do I need VIP to get a lower fee on Bitget?
Not necessarily. A new account through our link pays 20% less than the regular rate on trading fees from the first trade, which on spot is the same rate as VIP 1.
